A "Stuck in Park" is a common problem with Mercedes® 215 and 220 chassis from 2001 thru 2006. The cause is the failure of the plastic park Un-lock lever in the ESM. This lever provides the linkage between the Un-lock solenoid and the shifter. It also provides positive retention of the locking pawl in the locked position when the EMS is in park and the solenoid is not energized. This kit provides a Machined Aluminum park Un-lock Lever many times stronger than the weak plastic stock lever. Professional Installation is recommended.
