Starter Heat Shield™

Eliminate starter problems caused by close proximity of the exhaust to the starter with Thermo-Tec Starter Heat Shield™. The radiant heat of the exhaust produces enough heat to destroy the winding of the starter and solenoid. To combat this problem, Thermo-Tec™ developed an easy-to-install strap-on heat barrier to reflect the heat produced by the exhaust system. This universal kit enables the user to insulate the starter and solenoid.
