In 1952, Daimler-Benz AG entered 3 of the newly developed futuristically designed Mercedes-Benz 300SL racing sport coupes in the endurance race....24 Hours at LeMans. Although not taken seriously by the French, Italian and English competition,  2 of the 300SL's set a new race course record of 155.575 kilometers per hour average speed. By finishing 1...2...these SL cars laid the foundation stone of their legend. Famed automotive artist Nicolas Hunziker has capured a moment in time from this race with his original painting depicted here on our newest line of Hunziker T -shirts. These shirts are available in sizes M-XXL.
